Pyramidal Evergreen Shrubs
Evergreen shrubs, whether broad-leafed or conifers, offer year round colour in a landscape. Pyramidal-formed shrubs are excellent substitutes for trees that will grow too tall for the landscape program or for the expanding area. They perform nicely at basis corners or as specimen plants. Dwarf cultivars can be grown in containers.
Camellias
Once determined primarily with southern gardens, camellias (Camellia japonica) increase over a broader array across the California coastline than everywhere else. Nellie R. Stevens holly (Ilex x. Nellie R. Stevens) is a favorite of landscapers because of its striking conical development type. It may reach heights of 30 to 40-feet and grows quickly.
